Facilitation
Do you want to know what people really think and feel about your proposals, projects, policies or events?
* Will a skilled facilitation service support you to deliver your targets?
* Are you looking for a facilitation process which engages and collaborates with communities of interest in a participatory way?
If your answer is 'yes' then bluespace environments will complement your existing skills and enhance your project delivery.
We collaborate with you and develop tailored participatory facilitation workshops and events which exceed the requirements of the 'Duty to Involve' legislation to give you rigourously gathered and robust information, consensus and evaluation for project, strategy and policy development.
Recently Sue devised, facilitated and reported on events for Newcastle Science City Community Engagement Team and Newcastle Community Volunteer Service.
These were with the Sangam group, a group of older BME women. The first produced the health issue of most concern to them which will be developed by the Centre for Life into a PlayDecide Dialogue Game. Funding for the project comes through the European Network of Science Centres and Museums.
Punam Khaira, Policy & Development Officer for Newcastle Science City said of the facilitation -
"The carefully adapted facilitation skills and programme of activities gave a real focus to the event and helped us to extract rich and detailed information that was needed to move the project forward. The participants found the information provided by bluepace throughout the day to be excellent and both they and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience."
The second focused on Newcastle Science City Community Science Grants, initiating and honing a project idea which is of great interest, concern and relevance to the group and the wider community and can be developed for a grant application.
Rhianne Dixon, Community Science Team Manager, Centre West commented -
"Sue has delivered a series of excellent workshops for our project. She is always professional, supportive and willing to adapt to the needs of our groups."
